Development ceased?

Post by Revload » Fri Mar 20, 2015 12:00 am

Just wondering, has development of any new versions of Pwnagebot been ceased?

I've seen talk of a version 3 being developed last year. Is this still in development or has it been abandoned?

If so, will version two receive any more updates other than updated offset values? Just wondering - this is the greatest botting resource for the game and the only reliable one. I would hate to see it die.

Cheers.

This bot is not dying. We still spent alot of time in developing concepts, programming and testing.

But we really got extrem high requirements on the next version v3. We want to know the world and the characters 100%.

We got really nice stuff in pipe, but we will take the time it needs. There are months were 2-3 of us got 0 free time because of our jobs.

We coding 100% in our free time. And you know, if you like a game, you spend also a couple of hours in playing the game, not only coding bots ;)

Just a thought.

Maybe make a way for those that like the bot to donate. I know everyone wants something for free these days. However, for those that would like to show how much we appreciate your efforts. Give us a way to show it.

I think we wanted to go ahead and keep it free and not bother with donations (plus there are legal aspects if any money is made anyways).

With that being said, It's amazing how much work those working on the project have done.

We dont want donations for syphi.net.

If you like our Bot, then buy from time to time turbine points from turbine, so the game will survive... ;)

Maybe I could discuss with the team if we should allow donations for other organzisations like "children's international medical center".
