Migration to Visual Studio 2012

Post by rhui » Tue Jul 23, 2013 6:14 am

Last weekend we started the process to migrate all our projects from Visual Studio 2008 to Visual Studio 2012.
This process will go on this week and we hope we are able to finish the work next weekend.

Attention: We stay on .NET 3.5 for now...

Next jobs in queue are:
  • fixing the mapper in v2
  • easy export of your personal settings for issue reports in v2
  • auto updater for v2 for easy program changes
  • building sneak releases for volunteer-testers of v3

I think I forgot this Announcement =)

As bob allready mentioned:

So since 2.01.9 Rev 506 we using the VC++ 2012 redist package. The prior versions required the VC++ 2008 redist, so this is a recent change.

Get the Redistributable here.

Make sure you get the x86 version. You may want the x64 too, but it is not necessary for the bot.
