Hi, im planning to use pwnagebot but have no clue how. This is my first time using a bot, ever.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/225 ... 0guide.pdf
I read that guide and im still clueless and lost. Im planing on leveling from 65-85 without expansions and just pure grind. Is this possible?
And most of all can someone tell me how to use this bot in simple english, or if there are any videos as well. I got everything installed and all but i don't know use it and put information on it.
Thanks in advance.
Anyone care to help out a newbie.
Re: Anyone care to help out a newbie.
Sorry to be more specific im having trouble setting up grind spots. Anyone can tell me more about that. And how to get a good skill rotation.
It appears that my skills are just randomly being clicked without any rotation.

Yes, the bot is all about grind. It don't do no questing.
The guide takes you through how to create a grind path.
Essentially you run around with the Mapper ticked, so it can record some pathing (this is effectively the bots road map, like for your car), which it will use to determine how to get from point A to point B. As you run around, you can click on Add under the grind spot list, which will mark that location as a spot it can move to (they are move Waypoints, but they are internally used as a specific point from which to grind from).
After you do that, save your map. Click on Start. When you clicky on Start, the bot will look up it's road map and work out how to get to waypoint A. It will then move towards it. When it gets there, it looks around, shoots some stuff (it may shoot stuff on the way depending on the other settings). When its cleared, it will then look at the road map and work out how to get to point B, then move towards it. rinse and repeat.
As for skills. depends on the character/class. The skills are rotated based on the order in the skill list. Top to Bottom. The bot works its way from the top of the list, and will select the first skill that is available/applicable. Then it will go back to the top of the list, scan down, and hit the first one available/applicable (ok its not quite like this but it is a close enough description). You can't setup full on rotations, so it makes some classes difficult to get right, but some people have wardens going that are throwing off gambits (or whatever they're called).

Thanks for the response. You sumed it up for me pretty much.
Just one thing i got to ask and it regards this thread: viewtopic.php?t=1175
I installed the file and when i start pwnagebot the list is there on the location set and grind spot. I got all the info.
Now how do i know where to go? Im currently in galtrev @ lvl 66 and im trying to grind my way to 85. Now that i got that list everything is ticked, should i untick everything but one? I tried ticking only the galtrev one because i am there but nothing is happening.
Re: Anyone care to help out a newbie.
Yes, erm... that be the problem with someone elses map. Unless it happens to have a path from where you are, to the area that the first grind spot selected (which will be the first location set with a level range that covers your character), then it will not be able to work out how to get there.
It's like a Sat Nav. If you don't have the right map loaded with all the roads, you're in the middle of a green field, and a nagging voice going, please drive to nearest road, please drive to nearest road.... even though you might be on one.
As to work out where to go. Can't help you there either. I didn't create the files, so I don't know where they located. The only thing I can suggest is that hopefully the location set names give you some idea of where to go. Go to those places, and turn on the NavMapper on the debug tab. It will display some lines. These are the road map discussed previously. You need to be near the road map, or on it even for the bot to be able to start.
If you have disconnected road maps, then the bot cannot move between them, unless they are real close. They end up being little islands that you have to manually move between.
At the moment, you really are better off creating your own map paths, and making sure they cover areas that you want to move between.

Re: Anyone care to help out a newbie.
As a level 66 The galtrev lumber camp is best spot to grind. it is also mapped on woutertje1991's map xml.
Open nav mapper under debug and u will see the path that is saved.
Try and put urself exactly on the path.
Im not sure if it is something u have to do, but i always untick all the other grindspots since it woont work for me otherwise.
Other than that just tick mapper active and hit start:) the lumber camp should be a decent place until u hit level 70, then next good spot is gravenwood.
Edit: Did you download all files needed?? You need 3 different files:
The locationsets.xml wich goes into the grind folder (replace it with any existing one)
lotro_map.xsd and lotro_map.xml wich goes into mapdata folder(again replace with excisting ones)
jonmale uploaded a file:https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/359 ... nloads.zip
wich contains all 3 of woutertje1991's files. so just download an copy/paste them into their right folders:)
