Downtime

Post by mystexodus » Fri Dec 17, 2010 11:08 am

So my development box has decided it will no longer boot. I'm pretty sure the motherboard is fried as it's been giving me issues for awhile. Since there's a new architecture due to hit the market Jan 5, 2011, I'm going to hold off a few weeks to replace it and just upgrade to the new socket. Chances are if Turbine/CM update LOTRO, I'm not going to be able to update until I get my dev machine up and running again.

Thanks for the heads-up, sorry about the box. I think one of mine is in the same boat as it's been acting very funny the past week or so :)

Let me know if there's anything I can do...

Argh....they just announced they will bring the servers down on Monday, hopefully scheduled maintenance won't break the offsets :)

Monday Morning Update: the maintenance didn't seem to break the offsets, yay!

Good luck with the new board!

The LOTRO update has been completed and the bot is still functioning. Best of luck.

Sweet. I just got back into town, I'll probably try replacing my cmos battery and see if I can get windows to boot, but if not I'm just going to wait 2 weeks or so to get new stuff..

Best of luck mate, hope it gets fixed fast, and repairs aren't expensive.

If we need only offset updates and you are able to edit them on your soap server manually i would be able to deliver the changes if you want....

If you can figure out what they are, haha. My tools to update them are all on a hdd that's in the dev machine. I'd have to rip it out if I want to get at it...

Turns out that intel stuff isn't released until Jan 9th... ugh.
