Class XML pack - message to the community

Dear Community,

Some of the Class XMLs seem to be a little outdated. I wondered if it was possible to launch a message to the community to request their latest working 105 XML , alongside useful notes - such as issues...

Maybe this message is in the wrong category so maybe it should be moved,

Hi mila, I am working on a complete guide with xml classes added for a ll the lotro classes. I will also, have in there with the xml a .txt file with all the skills IDs and some basic info like

SkillID: (xxxxx), SkillID Name; (Battle Shout), Action: (range (x), cast, melee), One time buff: (x) and so-on.

That way anyone can mod their own xml.
One thing I do know from my own experience moding the .xml for classes or blacklist; is to use a program to edit these files. Like Visual Studies has a free version you can download. Notepad works, but you take a risk causing the bot not to function correctly. Notepad and other basic document programs wont show you any incorrect coding as you are moding the .xml

I have found that one simple extra character or space can cause the bot to not function correctly. Using a good programming editor will catch a lot of little mistakes. Plus as a added bonus keeping a consistent format, proper layout, and of coarse adding comments to each section of code will help others understand what you did.

I have a long list of things to screenshot and document to get this guide together.

Tell you what I can do for the time being is get a quick dirty zipfile with the xmls I have and add a download link. It wont have any instructions in it, but you can do what you want to them. That way I wont make anyone wait on those till I have a day off next week to try to put the full guide together. Stay tune I'll have the link posted tonight so you can download it.

This is just awesome - you are probably right about the editor - I need to look into it. Of course the zip file can do for now - I can already get around trying out a bit.

There are classes that work like wonder ( Minstrel, Hunter ) and others that are a bit meh ( Beornings, Guardian ) - but that may be just me
