Now, I had to rename the pwnagebot directory in my documents folder and let the program re-create things (may just need the profile recreated, I'll test some more after work). But the program launched and logged in, created a new profile and I have the radar up and running.

This is an excellent start and I do appreciate the work you've put into it! I'll report back more after I get a chance to play later today.

Yeah, that's because of the obfuscation, it really shouldn't be obfuscating that stuff. That's basically the same issue I was having I think, but I didn't feel like dealing with it, haha.

I'm not sure what your issue is Pavang.

I can fix the other issue, but it won't be retroactive. Basically the old release something in the profile config like Name is probably named "A" and then now it's named "B" due to obfuscation, so it doesn't match anymore, where as I need to tell it to not obfuscate so it always stays as "Name". But that means once it's fixed we'll have to create new profiles where it's "Name" (or edit the old ones if it's even worth the time).

k now that bot is working and it worked well for a while, but now its not attacking at all? it just finds the target but doesnt attack, any idea whats wrong?

That is usually that you've either got your distances set wrong (the defaults only make sense for a ranged class like Hunter), or you didn't move a skill on your skill bar to let the bot find your skills.

Very common issues both, and are fixed in the next version as their stupid configuration issues on my part.

how do i go back to the default distances? i tried downloading the bot again but it still gives me the same profiles and distances and stuff as my old settings

all of the profile info is kept in your documents folder. You can delete or rename the directories and the program will rebuild them with defaults, etc.

yea everything is working now but at times the bot just stops and just stands there forever haha, i dont know if i'm doing something wrong or if its the bot. thanks guys for all your hard work

Are you using BOT/BOT ? If you login without the BOT account, it'll be in demo mode which stops working randomly somewhere inside of 10 minutes...

yea and sometimes even if the health is lower than the % i set it on before it rests, it doesnt rest and keeps fighting. i set it at 70%, and its below that but still wanders off and finds another mob to attack

Mine does this as well from time to time, also it will not follow the given XML skills. But as said, only from time to time (once in an hour), but usually it will come back to normal. Guess it is either a server issue, or whatever.

No the bot has no contact with the server after login. Unless you mean the game server, but that shouldn't be it either. The only time this should occur is if it thinks it's aggro'd something. V1 had a bug where it wandered off into mobs accidentally, that is fixed in V2 though. Hmmm, I'll have to keep an eye out for this. I really should release an updated client, lots of bug fixes, fixed all this common errors that get posted on here on a weekly basis, added schemas for the classes so it's obvious exactly what's available, half implemented harvesting, etc.

I, for one, would look forward to the new client. I was kinda hoping you would keep v1 working (more simple, more experience using it and it does some harvesting, yay) until you did release an updated client.

But honestly, it all comes down to your time and effort as we still get to use this for free. I'm happy right now that the bot will log in, initialize and run around and kill things :)

Guess you're right, it probably has aggroed something, or while fighting one mob, something came into it's range. If it happens, the bot will not run off indiscriminatly, but will usually attack the next closest mob (which probably somehow ended up as the next target).

On the beforementioned "standing around and not doing anything". Also this happened to me. Basically it happens (at least to me), after having freshly started in a new area, and the bot is still mapping the surrounding. It will loose it's pathing. If you stop it then, save the mapping data and start, it will recognize it's pathing and start moving again. As said, this happens to me, if I start completely fresh in a new area, that has not been mapped befor and after some time of mapping and saving, it won't happem again.


Harvesting would be so great :)
It's the only thing which keeps me hanging on to V1 for most of my botting.
