I needed a support bot so i made this in a hurry
tested it on a hunter and a burglar and i think it work's ok for now

also this was made while smoking way to much weed so you're probably gonna find allot of bugs

il start cleaning up the code tomorrow and release the source if anyone want's it
Release.rar
(160.61 KiB) Downloaded 975 times
[Update]
Updated the bot to work with classes.xml it's not finished but its using skillname hotkey/skillid and cooldown atm i also added some new features and rewrote some of the old features so it works better :D

also the heal/revive features are untested so if anyone got a minstrel please test them and tell me if its working

Added a new way to detect if you're supported char attacked something
use the "Use old enemy detection code" checkbox if the new code causes any bugs atm
Release2.1.rar
(171.62 KiB) Downloaded 1021 times
[Update2]
Rewrote some of the code to work better
The bot also saves you're settings in pwnagebot\Lotro\profiles\Support.xml now so you don't need to redo everything each time :D
//Fucked up the release updated fixed version coming asap

if anyone got a good idea for how i can make the bot walk back to the char it's supposed to support when he dies please tell me

I just gotta redo the fighting code to work with the classes.xml and figure out how to walk back when i die and im releasing the source

Nice one. It'd be neat to know how this is intended to work. 'Support' is a fairly important concept and going forward, will surely be a focus of this community.

You should come visit #isxlotro on irc.lavishsoft.com some time!

this was just made fast to make my hunter run after my warden and help it kill monster's faster

it checks for the name of the character you want to "support" and keeps following it until it attacks something and then the bot searches for monsters that's below 100% moral and start's attacking it

This is very cool but what I see as consistent behavior is I have my higher level hunter following a lower level hunter (the following works great, btw) but when my lead hunter engages a target my higher level guy just seems to start running and won't stop.

Are the hot keys absolute numbers(0-11, etc) or are they the displayed numbers (1-12, etc)? I've tried both ways and gotten the same running result.

thanks for this though, cool to see other development based on the current work.

i think the running bug is fixed in the updated version but im not 100% sure :P
hot keys are absolute numbers in the old version in the new one it uses the same classes.xml as pwnagebot

Wow! R2 looks great :)

I have to take the kids to the skate park this morning but will be sure to test it out tonight.

Thanks again!

Oh, and be careful, you left your support char's name in the R2 release...

Can this be used on creepside? I want to use it to farm map mats for my creeps. I would want it to just assist the toon i am playing and attack what I attack.

Hmm that would be nice... I doubt it can creep along with a player. Then again I haven't tried.

Yet inside 2.x series I haven't seen any settings on it, but I'm still going through files and topics to learn more.

EntityDifficulties pwnagebot knows:

On both sides the same (working):
SWARM
SIGNATURE
NORMAL

for Freeps (working):
ELITE_MASTER
NEMESIS
ARCH_NEMESIS
ELITE

for Creeps (not working, creeps will not attack these types):
DEFENDER
MASTER_DEFENDER
HERO
AVENGER

Others (no enemies):
ESCORT
UNKNOWN

Will it just assist and attack anything my main creep toon attacks? I would be running 2 creeps. 1 main toon and one botted. I just don't see the option for choosing any creep.

never played as a creep so i got no idea if it works but the main idea of the bot is that it attacks everything your main character is attacking

just need to rewrite the attacker detection code and i think the code should be ready for release

considering this hasn't been updated for 2 years now i think it isn't working atm... I would love an update but it isn't functional right now.
