automatic waypoints

Post by wollmike » Tue Feb 10, 2009 8:15 am

Hi,

I wonder if it's planed to add a feature to the bot, that is finds his own waypoints in a certain area, compared to pather for the wow glider bot?

thanks...

Find it's own waypoints? What does that even mean?

In Pwnagebot v2 you'll map areas and set grinding locations. Unlike Pather, you have to map your areas by running around since Turbine prevents extracting map data (Something they changed..)

Basically, it'll do what you ask though ..

Just out of curiosity are you talking about like an A algorithm for pathing? Such as say...

Set Hot Spots, Click run, the bot will map the area as it goes to and from spots and learn more space as it's being pulled off the paths to attack mobs, all the while blacklisting areas that it can't go through like trees and rocks?
I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
