I'm *extremely* ashamed to admit this, but after spending quite some time trying to navigate the program, I just can't seem to be able to get it to run.
I found this thread, viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1222 but honestly, it didn't much help.
Is there anyone who could guide to throughout the steps? I have a champion and I'd like to grind some deeds in Great River. :/
(Map won't load!)
Thanks A LOT in advance for this.
Can't get it to work.
Re: Can't get it to work.
Please, anyone? Could you give a me at least a basic example setup?
Re: Can't get it to work.
1) Open Lotro and login to your character fully (all loading has finished) (As Administrator)
2) Open and login to Pwnagebot Run program as Administrator)
3) Turn onodically also create grindstones. the mapper and walk around the area you want to fight You can leave the mapper on all the time but I do not recommend it. Get the entire area you want your bot to cover created first, then turn off the mapper). The mapping part creates a framework upon which the bot will use to get from one point (grindspot) to another. When creating your map, you will periodically create grindspots as well. I l usually only create 3-4 per area except in rather complex ares such as moria. The grindspots allow the bot know points. The mesh provides information to the bot on how to travel between these points, The Bot can either go to these points in listed order, or randomly. I toggle between these two options based on my map. If my map is in a big open area with few possible obstacles (or small area, and few obstacles) I choose random. If in areas where I want it to follow a more specific route for one reason or another, then I have it follow the grindspots in listed order. The mapping is one of the more simple aspect of the bot, but also does take some time to become good at making quality maps. You also play with range of your grindspots. This determines how many meters in game the bot wil attack things in a radius of that particular grindspot. When few obstacles/issues are around that particular grindspot, I do a high range. When lots of obstcalse/issues surround that grind spot I use a low number. My highest being 100, my lowest being 5. Most somewhere in between. It takes practice for you to learn how to best set these values.
4)Get/create an XML for your character. Each character/class needs to have an XML file. This file defines how your character will use his skills out of combat, right before combat, and during combat. There are many shared xmls in the forums. There are many posts that explain how they work.
5)Hit start and enjoy
This should cover most steps. Maybe I left something out, but this should get you up and running.

Re: Can't get it to work.
Thanks a lot mate. Will try it right now.
Re: Can't get it to work.
EDIT: I STILL seem to be unable to map the bot's route. :S
Sigh. I really want to get this to work. I feel stupid.
