Don't take this the wrong way... you have to have a minimum understanding of the way things work.

You don't have to be an XML genius but you should have a basic understanding of how web code works. Even a basic understanding of HTML is enough to start making connections.

If you lack any concept of these things you may be out of luck.

I suggest what you do is either try to use the default XML class files along with the guild bob posted a link to.

The guild explains everything in detail, in very simple terms. If you can not grasp those simple terms then you may very well be out of luck.

It's an awesome program, it is well worth the time to figure it out but the community isn't going to do it for you.

Hey! Best of luck!

Oh, if you want to PAY me. I will set it up through Team Viewer if you are willing to give me access to your computer. No promises though and if that is not allowed here then I wont do it.

Can do what you like, except advertising/spam on this board (if we don't like it, we'll remove it and maybe you too).

If you attempt to make a business out of "our" app, we'll remove access (if anyone should be paid it's the guys figuring out how to make it work) or Turbine will do it for us.

That said, I cant control it if someone wants to pay you for help, so I can't ban it, and I think they're just suckers for not trying to learn some skills, which at the end of the day, you don't even need to "know" XML/web codez, as we'll help you those bits that on this board. You do need to learn the foibles of setting up a nav mesh, location sets and grind spots, what some of the settings mean, and when you should change them, and when you can click Start and what will happen when you do.

Thanks you two! I really appreciate your responses. NO, I'm never going to pay, sorry. Where is this Guild Link you were referring to? Where it explains very simple steps?

ALL I WANNA DO IS REACH LEVEL 85! Lol, excuse my exaggeration.

Thanks in advance.

Okay so Its not that I understand nothing at all. I do understand most parts of the program. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

So I open LOTRO as administrator and then wait for the loading screen etc.. select the character. For me its a Level 34 Hunter, Elf.

Once in the game, I travel to South Trollshaws as I saw on the forums that was a good spot for grinding a level 34 ish character..

Once there I open the program as administrator select the profile, select Hunter Class, I go to the next tab select mapping option then I select the location as South Trollshaws - Wolves. Because there are many different types of wolves called different name, so idk if thats the correct name to enter, do i put the exact name of the wolf? Also i add the loc level 30 - 36.

After that I then go to the Grind Spots and thats were it gets confusing for me. Since I'm a Hunter I set the range thing to 15 and then i go near a pack of these wolves and I type 3 and then enter...this part is confusing for me..and i think this is whats making the program not to work..

Anyway, I move onto the skill tab and deselect any skills i havent unlocked and then i initailize the bot and my character just walks around doing nothing..

Please Help

The the guild thige, is really the Guide thing, which you've said you read already. A few posts back.

Anyway, on to your problem.

The name of location sets doesn't matter. Call it what you want. It does help if it helps you remember what the location set actually means, so it should have some kind of meaning to you.

It sounds like you have the grind spot down right. A grindspot is really a waypoint. Effectively a point in the map where the bot will run to. It has a little special meaning because at a grind spot, the bot will look for mobs to kill. It looks for mobs within the Grind Range you specify. Generally this will default to 40, and this will usually be a good range value, except if you are in a tricky pathing area and you don't want the bot to travel too far off the paths you have defined (i.e. there are cliffs about!). If you want to see the path you've defined, go to the Debug Tab and click Nav Mapper.
It would be a rare day I would set higher than 40.

The second value is the Pull Range. As a Hunter, this will generally be 35. It means that the bot will use the Ranged skills to pull mobs which are within 35 metres of the toon.

You may want to set the "Kill Mobs in Path to Grindspots". This can be found on the Config page. It will mean that the bot will search for mobs when walking between grind spots (waypoints), and if any mobs are within the Grind Range of the spot (waypoint) you are walking to (or from I can't really remember), it will pick them of too.

You should also set your View Angle (Config page), to 90º if it is not already. This is how far the bot looks to both left and right, so 90º will really be a half circle in front of you. (i.e. 180º is a full circle around you).

If this is still not working, on the Config page, there is a DEBUG checkbox. Tick it, and get some log messages, which you can post here (the file is in the pwnagebot folder and called lotro_log.txt) and we may be able to see something else that can help. We only need relevant parts of the log, not necessarily the whole thing :).
