Personally i like champ for survival and dps. There isn't a class i haven't botted with yet. A shield warden can grab like 5 on 1 and not be effected.

Have you had the issue of the bot just not working when using meli characters like it comes into combat range them the enemy moves behind it or to the side and it wont attack?

Nope no issues for me. Best way to avoid that is set Your configurations like:

Melee Distance : 2.5
Move Forward Range: 2.5
Move Forward Duration: 150
Move Backward Range: 0.5
Move Backward Duration: 150
Get In Range Tolerance: 1.0

For melee toons i also set pull range of like 5-10, grind about 30. Plus in my xml for melee my midist is never more then 2.

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<actions xmlns="http://lotro.pwnagebot.com/Class/v2.0"

xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

xsi:schemaLocation="http://lotro.pwnagebot.com/Class/v2.0 Class.xsd">

<mindist>1.4</mindist>

If You look at the top part of each xml it should look like that. The part that shows <mindist>1.4</mindist> is your mindist. For melee I tend to keep it no more then 2 keeps fights close.

I have botted with only Guardian, Ministrel, Hunter, Captain, and Champ. No real difference in combat per say in regards to the bot. I would say Hunter is probably the easiest.
