Righto, you do actually need the lotro_map.xsd file in the mapdata folder. Without it the bot will fail to load a map file (generally with the "Stopped working" message). If you have deleted your's, re-extract it from the download file.

Also, if you find it works on your work network, but not home, then it is likely that the login process is not completing successfully, perhaps the connection to the server is being blocked for some reason (I assume you are running on a Laptop - or is it two different PC's), check you log files to see if it has started to log the process including the server it is trying to connect to.
