Login Failure - Should be correct credentials

Hey, so I am trying to log in to the client for the first time. Lotro is signed in and running as administrator. Pwnagebot is placed in "Documents" and running as admin. It is allowed through my firewall (I also tried temporarily shutting it down).

However, I cannot log in to the client. I copy and paste my password/username directly, so they should be correct. I get these errors though:

Code: Select all

"ProtocolError
Error 401 - Login failed.  The Logon attempt is unsuccessful, probably because a user name or password that is not valid."

Then

Code: Select all

"INVALID_USER_ACCOUNT: Failed to initialize pwnagebot!"

I am running the steam version, but launched the application from the main directory itself. Also running a fully updated Windows 7 64-bit with third-party firewall/antivirus.

Change your password to letters and numbers only here on forum and try again....

Ahhh, thank you so much, that worked. I suppose I should have tried that earlier, I just get so used to having overly-complicated passwords . Thanks much!
