Re: Skirmishes

The bot, in its current form, will not run a skirmish for you. You could enter a skirmish manually, and have a map configured for the skirmish, but it wont necessarily run the actual skirmish.

Re: Skirmishes

They promised v3 for over 3 years now, its not going to happen. Yeah, not sure v3 will happen either. RL took over, and the efforts moved into different directions anyway. It's possible it still might occur. It turned into more an experimentation of different techniques to pass data around, and a U...

Re: who took over ?

It is still under the same management.

Turbine/Warner Bros. have the header code for lotro. They don't release it.

Re: Skirmishes

As has been discovered, skirmishes are quite difficult, not the least because it requires finding the "key" to objective progress, determining pathing or positioning, setting up monitors for buffs/curses, being able to pickup items for use, do something with items, monitoring of remaining time for i...

Re: Skirmishes

So you know where I went with our discussion.... Skirmishes can be tracked very easily and detailed statistics are now stored. These are even available for viewing in game on your account! System Menu-> Skirmishes (CTRL+K) -> Stats tab, and if you can see it, so can Turbine. The way this data is pre...

Re: POIs - How to best use ?

From memory this function didn't work particularly well either. It was one of those idea's carried over from v1 that was never implemented (or fixed). You can set a POI, but when you hit Goto, as you said, it requires several things. 1. you are on a valid path point already 2. you can get to the POI...

Re: Hard to make the bot to work in Moria.

Moria is tricky to configure.
It usually requires changing a few of the stay on the path, and don't wander type parameters to be very limited. I tried to used somewhere between 2 and 5 as the distance from path.

Re: Disable mount?

There is no built on function or process to use the mount.

You can make it sort of function by quickbarindex and the use of outofcombat and other action sequences, but it does sometimes not work very well.

Re: Pwnagebot won't load string data?

So everyone who actually reads these things will get the answer they are looking for.. The strings error means that the bot has failed to load it's string database, which is a translation between the internal GUID's used in LOTRO to define everything, and a nice name that people can read. e.g. 0x030...

Re: Mac Client

Afraid not. While dev has not stopped, it has slowed, and I'm fairly sure that the people involved don't own a Mac either. Plus a lot of the tools necessary to make this work are not available on Mac.

Re: MyltiBoxx / Auto Assist / Auto Heal

The bot is not designed for assistance of other players. For starters it will never target another player, and second it has a function to stop doing anything when another player is within a specific range.

For multiboxing, you are better off using some multiboxing software. e.g. ISBoxer.

Re: seeking config. assistance

the level range, is your character level range, not the mob. the bot should use skills if you have them selected, and the ID's are correct, or if using quickbarindex rather than skillid, then the skills are in the right slot. You need to pay attention to the order in the config files as the order of...
